GASMATE ODYSSEY3T 3 BURNER BBQ WITH TROLLEY - BLACK
Good bbq once constructed. It took me 6 hours to construct and I am no monkey. The day before I spent less time changing changing seal on the jet unit of a jet boat. I had to go and get new larger bolts and washer to construct it. The pre screwed bolts in the 4 corners are simply too short to work pulling together the legs. Longer bolts made it way easier. Construction put my marriage at risk while on holiday
This was a recent purchase, selected after much googling of reviews. I spent 10 minutes reading the instruction booklet before starting. An hour later I did a final bolt/nut check and had two stainless, folded bits, that I couldn't find a home for, left over. An email to supplier, and the fast reply, told me it was a splash guard over the fat tray. Had I turned it one over it would have been obvious where one of these bits fitted. The second piece was included in error and confused the issue. The BBQ generates good heat and running on high for too long will likely turn anything into charcoal if left unchecked. I'm still learning but I'm very happy with the results so far. BUT, I have to go and buy a pair of long handled tongs because reaching across the cooking surface with my old , short handled pair, resulted in a bit of hair removal. Gotta say, very happy with my purchase, great value for the money.
There's only a small amount of solid cooking surface - and that has large holes around the edge which means the juices escape. The rest is a hodgepodge of grills. I found a cast iron frying pan that fits perfectly in the centre hole - but I am puzzled as to why so much of the cooking area is devoted to a wok (not included). When did wok cooking become a bbq staple? From another comment in this thread, it looks like Weber components will fit this model - which makes me think, why not just buy a Weber? I wouldn't touch this product if I had my chance again.
